Kodi Kuzhagar Temple, also known as Amirthakadeswarar Temple, is an ancient Shiva temple at Kodiyakkarai near Vedaranyam in Nagapattinam district. The temple is associated with the Tevaram tradition and is classified as a Paadal Petra Sthalam. Saint Thirugnana Sambandar and Saint Sundarar are associated with the shrine.
The temple is traditionally regarded as the 244th Tevaram Paadal Petra Shiva Sthalam and the 127th Shiva temple on the southern bank of the River Cauvery in Chola Nadu.
The history of Kodi Kuzhagar Temple is closely connected with the Chola period. The original shrine is believed to have existed from an early period and was later reconstructed in stone during the Chola period.
