Deivanayaka Easwarar Temple, also known as Arambeshwarar Temple, is a Shiva temple at Elumiyankottur near Perambakkam. It is one of the 275 Paadal Petra Sthalams and is praised by Tirugnana Sambandar in the Tevaram. Shiva is worshipped as Deivanayaka Easwarar and Goddess Parvati as Kanakakujambikai. According to the temple legend, Lord Shiva appeared before the Saivite saint Tirugnana Sambandar in the form of an old man and instructed him to sing hymns in praise of Shiva. The temple is traditionally regarded as an important Tevaram shrine of the region.
