Tirumeeyachur Ilamkovil Sakalabhuvaneswarar Temple is a historic Shiva shrine associated with the sacred temple complex of Tirumeeyachur. The presiding deity is worshipped as Sakalabhuvaneswarar, meaning the Lord of all worlds, while Goddess Parvati is worshipped as Minnunarunkuzhal Nayaki.
Tirumeeyachur has an important place in Tamil Shaivism because the principal Meghanathaswami temple at the same sacred site is associated with the Thevaram hymns of Tirugnanasambandar and Appar. The Ilamkovil forms part of this ancient Shaiva sacred landscape.
